Setup guide
How to set up Nomad IPTV on Samsung Smart TV
What you need
- A Samsung Smart TV (Tizen) connected to the internet
- A Samsung account (needed by some apps)
- Your Nomad IPTV login details from support
Compatible player options
- IBO PlayerCommon on Samsung TVs; you add your playlist on the developer's official website. See the IBO Player tutorial.
- IPTV SmartersListed on some Samsung models and regions.
- SS IPTV and other Tizen playersSome players show a device ID and ask you to upload your playlist on the developer's website.
Install players only from Samsung Apps on the TV. If a player asks you to add your playlist on a website, use only the developer's official site linked from inside the app.
Step-by-step installation
- 1
Open Samsung Apps
Press Home on your remote and select Apps.
- 2
Search for a player
Select the search icon and look for an IPTV player that supports M3U or Xtream Codes logins.
- 3
Install and open
Select Install, then Open once the app is ready.
- 4
Add your playlist
If the app has a login screen, enter your server URL, username and password or M3U URL. If it shows a device ID/MAC address instead, send that ID to support or follow the app's official instructions to add your playlist.
- 5
Reload the app
Close and reopen the app so it downloads your channel list and guide.
Where to enter your Nomad IPTV details
After your trial or order is processed, support sends your login details. Depending on the player, you will use either an Xtream Codes–style login (server URL, username and password) or a single M3U playlist URL. Enter them exactly as sent — they are case-sensitive, and an extra space at the end is a common cause of login errors.
Recommended settings
- Turn off Auto Motion Plus or similar motion settings if fast sports look unnatural.
- Set the TV's network to Ethernet in Settings → General → Network if a cable is available.
Troubleshooting
- Video buffers or freezes
- Use a wired Ethernet connection or a strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi signal, restart your router and device, and close other heavy downloads. HD streams generally need a stable 10–25 Mbps; 4K needs more. If buffering continues on several channels, contact support with the channel name and time.
- Login failed or “invalid credentials”
- Re-enter the server URL, username and password exactly as sent (including http:// and any port number). Check that your trial or subscription period has not ended and that you have not exceeded your number of connections.
- The player isn't in Samsung Apps
- Availability varies by model year and country. Contact support with your TV's model number and we'll suggest an option, or use a Fire TV Stick or Android TV device connected to the TV.
