Setup guide
How to set up Nomad IPTV on Amazon Fire TV Stick
What you need
- Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube or a Fire TV Edition smart TV
- An Amazon account signed in on the device
- A stable internet connection (Ethernet adapter recommended for 4K)
- Your Nomad IPTV login details from support
Compatible player options
- IPTV SmartersSupports Xtream Codes logins and M3U playlists. Check the Appstore for your region.
- Other Appstore playersAny reputable player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U can work.
Install apps only from the Amazon Appstore on your device. If your preferred player is not listed in your region, ask support to recommend an alternative available in the Appstore rather than downloading apps from unknown websites.
Step-by-step installation
- 1
Update your Fire TV
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About → Check for Updates, and install any available update before you begin.
- 2
Open the Appstore search
From the home screen select Find (the magnifying glass) → Search, and type the name of your chosen IPTV player.
- 3
Install the player
Select the app from the results, choose Get or Download, then Open once installation finishes.
- 4
Choose your login type
When the player asks how to add a playlist, choose the option that matches the details you received — usually “Login with Xtream Codes API” or “M3U URL”.
- 5
Enter your Nomad IPTV details
Type a profile name (anything you like), then the server URL, username and password — or paste the M3U URL — exactly as sent by support.
- 6
Load channels and guide
Wait while the player downloads the channel list, movies, series and TV guide. The first load can take a few minutes.
Where to enter your Nomad IPTV details
After your trial or order is processed, support sends your login details. Depending on the player, you will use either an Xtream Codes–style login (server URL, username and password) or a single M3U playlist URL. Enter them exactly as sent — they are case-sensitive, and an extra space at the end is a common cause of login errors.
Recommended settings
- In the player's settings, enable automatic EPG (TV guide) updates if available.
- Use the Favorites feature to keep the channels you watch most at the top.
- If picture quality changes often, set the player's decoder to Hardware in its settings.
Troubleshooting
- Video buffers or freezes
- Use a wired Ethernet connection or a strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi signal, restart your router and device, and close other heavy downloads. HD streams generally need a stable 10–25 Mbps; 4K needs more. If buffering continues on several channels, contact support with the channel name and time.
- Login failed or “invalid credentials”
- Re-enter the server URL, username and password exactly as sent (including http:// and any port number). Check that your trial or subscription period has not ended and that you have not exceeded your number of connections.
- The app is slow or crashes
- Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → select the player → Force stop, then Clear cache. Restart the Fire TV by holding Select + Play/Pause for about five seconds.
